EVENT  SCHEDULE

The Barefoot Hawaiian performs a significant number of shows annually that are open to the general public.  Best of all, the majority of these shows are completely FREE or, may require at most, a small admission fee charged by the event's sponsoring organization, for entrance to their event.

If you have not yet witnessed the Barefoot Hawaiian experience, this is your opportunity to do so with no risk and little or no expense.  If you are thinking about hiring the Barefoot Hawaiian for your event, we invite you come out and see us at one of our public shows.  We are certain you will agree that we are #1 in Hawaiian Entertainment.

To protect the privacy of our clients, this schedule does not contain our private show schedule.

FEBRUARY EVENTS

Sunday, February 21, 2010
Kelalani & Kaulele's Animal Crackers Wedding

Des Plaines, IL
5:00 - 10:00 PM
A Fun & Fictional Interactive Performance
To Benefit Animal Charities

You likely have heard (perhaps seen) "Tony n' Tina's Wedding", the long-running, off-broadway show.  Well now, the Barefoot Hawaiian presents "Kelalani & Kaulele's Animal Crackers Wedding."

Kalalani and Kaulele have tied the knot and you are invited to attend their outrageous wedding reception.  Tickets to attend this crazy affair are only $5, which includes entrance to the reception, the interactive performance, wedding cake, reception dancing (get yourself ready to Chicken Dance), and loads of fun.

Purchase tickets from the:

Barefoot Hawaiian

1401 East Oakton Street
Des Plaines, Illinois 60018
847-699-7336

Tickets are only $5 each and are on sale now.

Entrance to the event is by pre-paid ticket only.  No tickets will be sold at the door.  Tickets are available only at or through the Barefoot Hawaiian.  This is a Barefoot Hawaiian sponsored event.  Tickets are not available from the place of venue.  We expect this to be a sold-out event, so purchase your tickets early.

The reception will be held at:

The Tiki Terrace Restaurant

1591 Lee Street
Des Plaines, IL 60018
847-795-TIKI

Restaurant reservations are a must.  In addition to purchasing the required number of tickets for your party, you also must call the restaurant to get a seating reservation for the total number in your group.

During the reception, the Tiki Terrace will be offering their regular menu and drinks.  Other than the wedding cake, which is included, attendees will be responsible for their own food and drinks.  Please plan to order something during this event as it will add to your interactive enjoyment of this affair, just as if you were at a real reception.  Moreover you will be patronizing the restaurant.

Please note that this is a Barefoot Hawaiian sponsored entertainment event, and the Tiki Terrace is not connected with it other than supplying the venue.  Patronizing the restaurant with a food and/or drink order will be the only receipts the restaurant will receive.

Dress Up !

Come dressed in your best, wildest, or most bizarre wedding attire.  You can wear wedding attire from any genre, generation, century, decade, ethnic group, social group, or style.  Anything goes.  Be creative and push the envelope.  A prize will be awarded to the most spectacularly dressed attendee.

Charity Benefits

50% of ticket sale proceeds will be going to the following organizations.  You can even bring 'wedding' gifts (all go to charity).

A Refuge for Saving the Wildlife, Inc.
Northbrook, Illinois

Canine Companions for Independence

Invitation and Flier

This is a fun and fictional interactive performance based upon a wedding reception theme; no one is actually getting married during this event.
