Follow Michelle as she takes you on a tour of the Barefoot Hawaiian store, then into the dance studio where Michelle will take a lesson on how to dance Polynesian.  The film crew then walks you across the street to the Tiki Terrace restaurant for the popular Barefoot Hawaiian performance and show.

the Chicago area with it's own walk-in Hawaiian Store.

Other local companies doing Hawaiian entertainment may advertise or claim a gift shop or merchandise for sale, but if you don't see a real store at a real business address, they don't own one.

This is a rare opportunity for the general public to see our entire 2009 show in indoor auditorium comfort and seating, entirely sponsored by the Barefoot Hawaiian.  All student divisions will be performing with special emphasis on our younger dancers.  This is the perfect opportunity to see what our students have learned this past school year.  The show will be supplemented with some special performances by select dancers from professional dance troupe.  This complete and unabridged, "director's cut" of the show will run about 3 hours and is our best bargain of the year.

The Barefoot Hawaiian will be participating in the Tiki Blessing and Dedication Ceremony of a carved Tiki, being presented by Johnnie “Keoni” Durant, the carver from the island of Kauai.

Keoni will present the Tiki at 2:00 PM to the Mayor and people of Evanston as a gift.  The presentation will be followed by a performance of ancient hula by the Barefoot Hawaiian.
